Falz Received a Letter From LIRS To Come Remit His Personal Income Tax

Nigerian rapper, Falz who had a very successful career in the year 2017 had just revealed that he received a letter from the LIRS (Lagos State Internal Revenue Service) to come and remit his personal income tax for the year 2017.

This is surely a welcome development in the State and other states of the country can emulate such. It is quite obvious that majority of the Nigerian celebrities do not remit their taxes to the government, despite making huge sums of money from the public.

The LIRS should go after all the celebrities and not Falz only.

See the letter below…

Lol! LIRS sends Falz a letter to come and?pay his personal income tax for 2017

Lovina that is where we got it all wrong as Nigerians.this our celebrities they make too much money n most of it is tax free.you can not make such money as a Celebrity if there is no security in the country, people will not go out or come to shows when they don’t feel safe… And it is the government that made citizens safe n secured in a country. So it is not wrong when the government ask our celebrities to pay their income tax.
